As a fashion girl, who is absolutely obsessed with putting together looks and going shopping, it only made sense that I did an autumn lookbook! Here’s my take on some of what I think are the hottest trends of autumn 2020. I tried to keep these looks fairly inexpensive so that even a baddie on a budget can pull off a similar vibe. These looks are super great for autumn, but honestly, a lot of these pieces are super versatile.
Wear whatever you want, whenever you want, and a word of advice: Don’t follow trends - start your own! Here are my favorite looks of this upcoming fall.
LOOK #1
For this look, I wanted something super cute and chic, but also casual that you could wear pretty much to anything. So I was really feeling the crop top vibe with some funky jeans, I opted for these Fred Segal patchworked jeans that I bought while in LA. I paired it with an oversized red velvety blazer (velvet is perfect for the autumn/winter months), a very on-trend nylon bag that reminds me of the 2000 nylon Prada bag but more budget-friendly! I have been living for the layered necklaces look so I paired my signature Om necklace that my grandmother bought me from India, with a simple delicate choker! Pair with your favorite booties and you’re all set!

As if! Obviously, as many of you can probably tell, my style inspiration for this look was Cher Horowitz from the hit film Clueless. As Clueless is one of my favorite movies of all time, and since I have been totally obsessed with 90’s inspired fashion, I feel like this look is really just giving! You can pull off this totally 90’s look by pairing any plaid skirt you have, I opted for bodycon, but feel free to go fit 'n flare if that’s more your taste! Top it off with a cropped turtleneck top if you want a more conservative look or not cropped if you want to show more skin. Team the look with your fave platform booties to give it that 90’s Spice Girls edge, and your favorite faux fur coat for the extra drama!

LOOK #3
Glamour, glamour, glamour. That’s what came to mind when I put this look on. I am absolutely obsessed with this look, I feel like it’s completely perfect for a formal dinner, or just when you really want to get in touch with your inner golden age Hollywood superstar. For this look, I went with this super cute laced dress from Storets, paired with some matching gloves, my favorite gold rings, and a simple peep-toe heel. Play around with textures! If lace isn’t your thing you can achieve the same type of look, but maybe in a velvet medium or any other material you adore.

LOOK #4
I have been absolutely obsessed with bodysuits lately. I think it’s because they’re just such a quick outfit, that looks put together. Trust me, if you’re not into bodysuits yet, get on it! They’re perfect and so easy for when you need to look put together quickly. For this look I went for a more flirty fun vibe, I paired this backless bodysuit with my favorite new Ji Oh skirt, and shiny patent booties. I am obsessed with patent boots for this autumn, they’re so dope and just add a bit of edge to any look.

Anyone who knows me knows how absolutely obsessed with the Telfar bag I am, so you can imagine my joy when I finally got one. Telfar Clemons is truly a fashion genius of our time, and I think everyone should invest in a Telfar bag, beyond worth it. For this look, I wanted to channel all of the city girls from New York and Philadelphia who inspire me deeply. I am absolutely obsessed with street style, and I think this look is just perfect for everyday wear. I paired my fav oversized Aaliyah t-shirt with biker shorts and a puffer jacket. Puffer jackets are one of my absolute favorite autumn trends, and I recommend everyone buy one. Had to wear my new baby, the small Telfar Shopping Bag in Pool Blue. And of course, I had to finish off the look with my forever go-to shoe: my Nike air force 1’s. Be sure to pair with your favorite pair of hoop earrings to really embrace just how much of a bad bitch you are.
