Shoe designer Jessica Rich, best known for her celebrity favorite shoe collections that have been worn by the likes Normani, Kylie Jenner, JLO, and Saweetie, went back into clothing with her new collection RICH BASICS. The collection which launched this past September has already been worn by the likes of megastar rapper, Cardi B.
It’s the perfect outfit for a day of Netflix and chill or an inviting night out; these luxury basics can make anyone feel comfortable and sexy. She describes her intentions and how every girl should feel in her clothes, “Naked. Very light feeling clothing, confident but also snatched in all the right places.”
Made out of soft seamless elastic stretch mesh fabric, this collection consists of long sleeve mesh bodysuits paired with matching mesh pants which both provide high compression body shaping. The details of the sets, standout as they are double-meshed in the front to provide extra comfort, but most importantly to make bras optional. From nine outstanding colors to choose from, black, nude, copper, red, purple, grey, leopard, white, and green, it’s hard not wanting to buy them all.

To Jessica, RICH BASICS is more than just clothing. “It’s been a process for over a year now I was just trying to figure out what I wanted to design because I feel like my everyday wardrobe is getting more and more comfortable. I hate thinking about different pieces to mix and match so I wanted to create a set that you could wear out at night as well as something that you can mix and match with other things in your closet as well,” she details.
Jessica began sharing her love for fashion on Instagram. In 2015, she started her career in fashion making clothing and launching her online store. It wasn’t until 2017 that Jessica debuted Transparent by Jessica Rich, her first line of heels. Producing one of the most popular styles in the last five years, the clear stiletto heels made it easier to match outfits and still look fabulous. As Jessica continues to achieve, it makes sense for her to tap back into her first love, clothing.
“I just wanted to design some things that I personally really like but didn’t see in the marketplace that could be mixed and matched with different outfits.”
When asked how she would be wearing RICH BASICS, Jessica points, “I personally wear my bodysuits during the day with different pants. I really really like them because it’s double-lined in the front this way you don’t have to wear a bra. And then of course at night, I wear the full set together. Far more sexy overall look, you always see me usually in the same color from head to toe because I just feel like it’s a strong statement with a sexy shoe and you’re good to go.”
